ADOPT AN ALPACA
The ultimate objective for Suri Alpaca Rescue is to rehabilitate and re-home rescued animals. Once we are fully functioning, you have an opportunity to adopt an alpaca! Individuals looking to get into alpaca farming, or who have an existing farm, are perfect candidates for rescued Suri Alpacas. If this sounds like you, contact us- Take a sweet suri home!
- A minimum of one acre of split pasture (for rotation) for 3-5 alpacas
- A 6 foot no-climb fence
- A shelter from inclement weather
- Access to clean water at all times
- Hay, grain & minerals
- Routine care, including de-worming, annual shearing, teeth and toe nail trimming
- Safe transportation
- Veterinary care as needed
